The milling machine operator is involved in the manufacturing process, transforming technical drawings into actual parts, while adhering to strict tolerances and quality standards.

Study and preparation:
  • Analyse plans, diagrams and technical documents to define the machining operations to be carried out.
  • Select the appropriate cutting tools and prepare the necessary equipment.
  • Define the machining parameters according to the specifications of the part.
Machining of parts:
  • Load the raw material onto the machine and proceed with machining according to the defined steps.
  • Monitor the machining process to ensure that the result complies with specifications.
  • Make adjustments as necessary to correct deviations or optimise the process.
Quality control:
  • Check the dimensions and geometry of machined parts using precision measuring instruments (caliper, micrometer, etc.).
  • Identify and rectify any non-conformities before final validation.
Equipment maintenance:
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and tools to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Report any anomalies or need for major maintenance.
