The Eurodime Group took on a major challenge by manufacturing several structures for heat exchangers and their accessories. These imposing structures, measuring up to 6m x 6m x 25m and containing up to several tonnes of steel and stainless steel, were entirely fabricated using mechanical welding before undergoing sandblasting and high-protection painting.
With a tight deadline and zero defects required, this project mobilised highly skilled teams who were aware of the responsibility involved in work intended for export. The pride of creating such a structure and the need for specific certification reinforced the commitment and team spirit of the welders and technicians involved.

Complexity / Pride / Team spirit
Three words about the project – Mr Clément Godon, Workshop Manager
The expertise of the Eurodime Group
The manufacture of these structures required advanced expertise in mechanical welding and metal construction. Our teams worked with specific materials (steel and stainless steel), requiring perfect mastery of assembly and welding processes to ensure optimum robustness.
A high-protection paint was then applied to ensure maximum resistance to operating conditions. This finish guarantees the durability and performance of the structures in a petrochemical environment.
The project also required rigorous planning to organise the manufacturing stages, optimise workshop space and ensure the handling of components until the final phase.
Controlled logistics and regulatory management
This project involved major logistical challenges. The imposing size of the structures required specialised handling equipment to transfer them between the welding workshop and the painting workshop.
Once ready, the structures were transported by special convoy, requiring several administrative authorisations to ensure safe transport.
Compliance with specific standards and certifications (including ISO 3834-2 certification) was a key element of the project, enabling Eurodime to qualify to build this type of structure and opening the door to other large-scale projects in the petrochemical sector.
Conclusion
This project perfectly illustrates Eurodime’s ability to manage complex, large-scale projects by drawing on its unique technical expertise and rigorous management of manufacturing and logistics constraints.
Our teams combined precision, coordination and excellence to deliver these high-performance exchanger structures for demanding industrial applications. This success once again demonstrates our commitment to quality, rigour and customer satisfaction.
