Airbus A350 livery

As part of preparations for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, the Eurodime Group took on a major technical challenge by machining aluminium parts for the Airbus A350’s exterior. This project spanned a year, with tight time constraints and high aesthetic requirements. The parts produced not only had to meet the strict standards of the aerospace industry, but also had to offer exceptional aesthetic appeal, which represented a new challenge for our team. Thanks to our expertise in precision machining and advanced finishing processes, we were able to deliver components that met expectations, contributing to a global event while demonstrating Eurodime’s ability to complete complex projects within ambitious deadlines.

Three words about the project – Mr Raynald Bourion, co-manager

The expertise of the Eurodime Group

The production of these aluminium parts required a high level of technical skill and precision. Working with aluminium, a material favoured in aeronautics for its lightness and durability, requires in-depth knowledge of cutting and milling processes to avoid any deformation or alteration of the surface. Our teams used high-precision machinery to meet extremely tight dimensional tolerances, which are essential for such demanding cladding parts. This technical expertise demonstrates our ability to work on innovative, high-quality projects for the aeronautics industry.

Meticulous compliance with standards

In the aerospace industry, compliance with standards is not only a legal obligation but also a guarantee of safety and quality. For this project, each stage of production followed ISO 9001:2015 standards, which govern quality management in the industry. In addition, the surface treatments applied to the aluminium parts complied with ISO 8081:2021 guidelines, ensuring optimal protection against corrosion and a perfect aesthetic finish. To meet the requirements of the Olympic Games and comply with the deadlines imposed, we also implemented a rigorous quality control system at every stage, from machining to final treatment, to ensure that the parts met the customer’s expectations. This attention to detail and compliance with standards demonstrates the Eurodime Group’s commitment to providing reliable and aesthetic solutions in a sector as demanding as aeronautics.

Conclusion

This ambitious and technically demanding project to machine parts for the Airbus A350 reflects the Eurodime Group’s ability to meet the highest standards and adapt to the requirements of large-scale international projects. Our team is proud to have contributed to the preparations for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, demonstrating once again our commitment to excellence, quality and safety in all our projects. By working closely with the aerospace industry, we have proven that our expertise in precision machining and complex project management enables us to meet our customers’ challenges, even with tight deadlines and specific aesthetic criteria. Thanks to our know-how and dedication, the Eurodime Group continues to strengthen its position as a trusted partner for high-level industrial projects.
