Eurodime Group, a collection of companies specialising in various mechanical services, is currently seeking a CAM Technician for its Britsch Mechanical Modelling division.
With extensive experience in machining, moulding and prototyping for various industrial sectors such as automotive, aeronautics, agri-food, etc., you will be part of a small team of colleagues from a variety of backgrounds.
Working exclusively on small batches or single parts, you will regularly be involved in new projects, allowing you to apply your diverse skills.
Responsibilities and duties of the position
- Analyse the machining requirements for each part.
- Read and interpret plans and 3D files.
- Work with the design office team to understand project specifications and ensure their technical feasibility.
- Be familiar with the available equipment and choose the right tools.
- Program using CAM software (WORKNC or equivalent).
- Optimise CAM files to ensure efficient and accurate production
- Assist the production technician during CAM programme testing
- Make adjustments and modifications to CAM files when necessary
- Ensure data traceability and backup.
- Comply with quality, cost, deadline, safety and environmental requirements
The desired profile
- Day shift work
- Beginners accepted as the role will be working alongside an experienced CAM technician
- Modelling/prototyping/single-unit parts, no mass production
- Programming for 3- and 5-axis milling machines. No CNC turning
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with great attention to detail
